Beautiful Moments…

I have problems to find the right word for this kind of blog activity, but I’ll try to describe, what happens…

A very nice German blog (you’ll find the link to this special event behind the icon, but it is only in German) startet this a while ago. As a lot of people have more or less problems with the dark seasons, the participants shows once a week a positive moment of this time, there are often photos, but also a poem or a story or something else fitting is possible.

This is my post for this week…

It is winter here in Germany.

Ok, for some of you this is not very special. But until now a normal winter here in Northern Germany was usually like the first paragraph in an article in our Bremen newspaper (Weser Kurier) described it this morning:

Winter comes from the Old High German ‘wintar’ and means ‘wet season’. Like this it was until now in Northern Germany: three degrees (Celsius) plus, drizzle, cold wind from the East. Brrr…

Last year and as it seams this year this was different… It was a real winter with a lot of cold for a real long time, lot’s of ice and snow, the spring came late.

During the week this causes often problems, you have to go to work and sometimes it makes it really difficult. But today is weekend, no depts, where I need to go with a vehicle and so the look outside the window is really fun and magic… the sun is shining, the heaven is blue and it looks only fantastic.

This picture I made out of the window in the living room. It was nearly the first I saw this morning when I came outside the bedroom.

And of course I HAD to go outside on the balcony and make some more pictures. This is one of them:

Crossed the fingers, that we will have similar conditions tomorrow. In the afternoon I will visit Bremen with Arne, wo visit the city with our cameras and I want to have many beautiful pictures.
